About The Position
Safely operates the machine, including proper lock, tag, and try procedures Transfer stock into WIP inventory by using the ACS System Configure loads as to the number of outs, tie sheets, and customer specifications. Performs WQP quality checks on every drop Utilize the Marquip system to enter waste Communicates with wet-end as to starch, paper grade, paper alignment, and delamination conditions Communicate with the Knife Operator as to correct width, score depth, or any other board conditions needing adjustment Performs daily and weekly PMs as specified by maintenance, or supervisor Comply with this facility’s environmental policy and environmental management system Performs daily and weekly housekeeping duties in and around the corrugator, or as specified by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or state-registered GED preferred
- Ability to read factory orders, accurately read tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment
- Be able to work in a team environment and must be available to work available shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Applicant must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
