About The Position
The Corrugated Business Associate is a pivotal role within PCA's GIFT (Generational Investment for Tomorrow) Program, designed specifically for recent college graduates. This full-time, salaried position offers a unique rotational training experience aimed at developing well-rounded employees and future leaders in the corrugated packaging industry. The program spans 10-12 months and encompasses various departments, including Design, Production, Customer Service, and Sales. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of the corrugated box plant operations and the industry as a whole, preparing them for a successful career path in either Sales or Production. Throughout the program, the Corrugated Business Associate will work closely with a designated GIFT Mentor, ensuring they stay on track with their training and career development goals. The role involves rotating through the four main departments, engaging in assignments and projects under the guidance of department supervisors, and learning how these departments collaborate to meet customer needs. Associates will also have the opportunity to identify areas for improvement and present their findings to their supervisors and mentors. Participation in group conferences is a key component of the GIFT Program, allowing associates to network and engage in professional training with peers. Upon successful completion of the program, associates will transition into a full-time role aligned with their skills and interests, either at their current plant or another location with available openings. This position emphasizes PCA's commitment to service, focusing on strategies that add value and support growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.
