About The Position

Technicians must have the ability to explain and demonstrate the following: Ability to apply safety procedures, including PPE Demonstrate good Operation of Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC) Application Equipment to include compressors, application guns, grinders, vacuums, etc. Apply CPCs on various types of ground combat and support equipment Determine the stages of corrosion and categorize them as codes 1-5 Perform corrosion assessments on equipment Assess equipment using PDA Perform surface preparation and touch-up procedures Complete online DAU CLM module Corrosion Prevention and Control Overview training Inspect serviced equipment to validate compliance with CPAC orders and directives. Ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness of all GFE & CFE equipment. Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process. Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policy Clarification Letters, Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards, etc. Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals. Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures. Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information. Maintain a safe and secure work environment. Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, and workload requirements, etc. Working Conditions and Physical Demands The employee may be required to frequently handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance Must be able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of equipment/supplies as applicable to the position. Ability to work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, damp, and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies. Be able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces. Adhere to all PTi quality, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years maintenance-related experience, military preferred.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers to realize production expected numbers while maintaining a high degree of quality of work.
  • Must be able to complete company and program policies, procedures, and defined training plan within an established timeline.
  • Fluency in English; able to communicate effectively, speak and write in English.
  • US Citizen
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or military Common Access Card (CAC), SOFA, and LOA within 30 days if required.
  • Technicians will require CPAC Program certification and annual recertification.
  • Must be clean-shaven where a respirator can conform to skintight contact around the nose, mouth, and chin.
  • Must be able to pass a medical pre-screening form to be able to work while wearing a respirator when required.
  • Must pass online respirator training.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
