About The Position

The Corrosion Control Specialist is responsible for corrosion control and painting of assigned aircraft and ground equipment. Essential Responsibilities: Proficient in paint removal, metal treatment, application of paint by spray method, and the installation of decals and markings. Accomplishes maintenance forms required by duties and performs other related duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to obtain and maintain site access. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain site access.
Must have a valid driver’s license (must be able to obtain the Real ID within 30 days of employment)
One (1) year or more in aircraft/automotive/manufacturing painting (DD214 or employment history). Or completion of a certified vocational or apprenticeship program with minimum six (6) months’ experience in the aircraft, automotive, or manufacturing industry
Required to wear proper PPE gear when prepping and painting aircraft.
Required to complete respirator fit test (no facial hair).
Must be able to perform the physical requirements as stipulated in Appendix E of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the position.
