In this role, the employee will perform various intake functions such as assigning incoming and outgoing faxes, emails, voicemails, and Provider Portal submissions to ensure Pre-Service, Post Service, Fee Negotiation, NSA Negotiation teams, and NSA Independent Dispute Resolution teams have the required documents for their jobs to be performed. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

  • Process inbound documents (emails, faxes, website inquiries, voicemails) with accuracy.
  • Follow up on incomplete or misrouted documents to ensure correct handling.
  • Maintain a processing rate of at least two (2) minutes per entry.
  • Manage a high volume, fast-paced work queue while maintaining processing quality.
  • Communicate professionally with providers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy and security guidelines.
  • Stay organized while working independently in a remote setting.
  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older.
  • Experience with PC based software programs and automated database management systems; Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday with flexibility to work any of the 8-hour shift schedules during normal business hours.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools.
  • 1+ years of experience processing medical, dental, prescription or mental health claims.
