About The Position
Travis County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Corrections Specialist (Central Booking, TCCC Records and Classification) to perform highly responsible work in coordinating and carrying out responsibilities involving inmate incarceration. The role requires independent decision-making, organization, and prioritization of workload while performing detailed legal procedures associated with court documents and inmate assessments. The position involves accepting and processing bonds, fines, and cash releases, as well as conducting daily coordination with legal entities involved in inmate incarceration. The Corrections Specialist will also provide care, custody, and control of inmates in the detention complex.
