About The Position
The Corrections Specialist 2 position at the Washington State Penitentiary (WSP) is a full-time, permanent role focused on overseeing Administrative Segregation (AdSeg) and Maximum Custody (MAX) hearings. The specialist will work closely with a Multi-Disciplinary Team to assess the status of incarcerated individuals and ensure compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) policies. This role is critical in maintaining safety and order within the facility while providing expert consultation and technical assistance regarding PREA compliance.
