About The Position
We have an exciting opportunity inviting interested professionals to apply for Corrections Recreational Specialist 2 (with Corrections Recreation Specialist 1 underfill option) at Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI) in Ontario, Oregon! For this position, training, work hours, breaks, days off, etc. will be determined by the labor contract of the institution. Once the probationary period is completed, work shifts and days off may be subject to a bid process in accordance with the applicable labor contract. This position has an underfill opportunity available. This means if you do not meet the minimum qualifications for the Corrections Recreation Specialist 2 classification, you may be able to be hired as a Corrections Recreation Specialist 1. If hired as an underfill in the lower classifications, you will receive the salary range of the lower position until you meet the qualifications for the regular position. When you meet the qualifications, you will be automatically reclassified as the higher regular position. Preference may be given to those who currently meet the regular classification qualifications.
