In addition to security duties, Corrections Officers are responsible for issuing warnings and disciplinary actions to inmates as necessary. They also serve meals and distribute medications, ensuring that inmates receive their prescribed treatments. For inmates with Huber privileges, officers manage their entry and exit from the facility, which includes verifying work schedules, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, and conducting searches to assess their condition upon return. This multifaceted role requires a strong commitment to safety, security, and the well-being of all individuals within the facility.
