About The Position
The ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is looking for individuals who are confident, assertive, independent, and act with integrity. Officers must use good judgement, utilize and rely on training to maintain composure in emergency situations, maintain constant awareness and be observant of surroundings, work cooperatively with others as part of a high functioning team, follow-through with work assignments and directives, and communicate effectively. As a high performing Correctional Officer, you will set an example each day through positive and pro-social role modeling, utilize dynamic security concepts by building rapport, observing, and supervising residents inside our correctional facilities.
