About The Position

This role is crucial as it involves the direct supervision and security of inmates/residents in various settings, including housing units, during meals, recreation, work assignments, and other activities. As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order and security, which may require the use of weapons or force to ensure discipline and safety within the facility. We value professionalism and a strong sense of service, and we are looking for individuals who share these values and are ready to make a positive impact in the lives of those in our care. In this position, you will be assigned to various posts, which may include armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation areas. Flexibility is key, as you will need to work any shift as required.
