About The Position

The Correctional Officer at CoreCivic is responsible for the security, care, and direct supervision of inmates in a correctional facility. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Provide direct supervision of inmates during housing, meals, recreation, and work assignments.
• Employ weapons or force when necessary to maintain discipline and order.
• Work various shifts and be assigned to different posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation.
