About The Position
This is a trainee position that involves the completion of the New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) Training Academy and field training. The Cadet will attend, participate in, and successfully complete the NMCD Training Academy within 12 months of hire. Employment is subject to passing pre-employment screening that may include background investigation, agility testing, and psychological testing.
