VACANCY INFORMATION: The Department of Corrections is accepting applications for a Correctional Electrical and Electronics Supervisor position at the Maine State Prison, in Warren, Maine. Applicants must be willing to participate in stand-by rotation and work holidays and snow days, when necessary. This position is open to DOC employees and all outside applicants. DESCRIPTION: This is structure and craft work in supervising the electrical maintenance program and/or electronic systems of a correctional facility. Work includes planning, assigning, and supervising the work of a Correctional Electrician II, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and electronic systems; and instructing, overseeing and monitoring residents who are Licensed Electrical Helpers. This class is differentiated from the Correctional Electrician II classification in that a major portion of this job is spent planning, directing, and supervising the work of others and developing and carrying out an electrical maintenance program.
