About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Correctional Counselor II (Supervisor), the Correctional Counselor I (CCI) interviews incarcerated persons and evaluates their adjustment, development, and progress in correctional treatment programs; counsels incarcerated persons on personal, institutional and family problems. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
