About The Position
The Correctional Case Manager IV position involves providing routine social casework in the classification and assignment of offenders committed to a correctional institution or advanced social casework pertaining to the re-entry of offenders into the community. This role includes using interview techniques and assessment instruments to determine the offender's security risks and programmatic needs, preparing case history reports, and recommending program assignments. The incumbent will also review work and conduct records of assigned offenders, advise them on personal problems and resources, deliver programs to assist in successful re-entry, and develop offender transition plans in line with re-entry programs and services.
