Correctional Associate Warden for Programs
About The Position
This position is located at Greene Correctional Institution in Maury, NC. Greene Cl has a minimum custody population of 656 adult male offenders. This position will assist in the management and operational functions of a prison institution or facility which provides a large variety of programs and services to the offender population. Employee will be responsible for the supervision of the Programs functions of the facility but may assist the Correctional Warden in other areas at Greene Cl as needed. In the absence of the Warden and Associate Warden of Custody, this position is responsible for the operations of the facility. Position will report directly to the Warden of the facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of supervisory or management level experience in correctional programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission

- Documented knowledge of supportive counseling or treatment programs.
- Documented knowledge of services available to individuals from the community and other public and private programs.
