About The Position

InGenesis is currently seeking a Correctional Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric to work with our client. In this role, you will provide on-site psychiatric services to the male population at the correctional facility. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care.
• Healthcare Professional Level BLS/CPR Certification.
• Must satisfy all requirements to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing mental health care.
• Perform advanced nursing duties within the boundaries of licensure.
• Conduct routine physical exams.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Offer clinical guidance to lower-level clinical staff.
• Participate in committees and meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
