About The Position

The Medina County Juvenile Detention Center (MCJDC) has positions available for full-time Juvenile Correction Officers (JCO). The JCO is responsible for the safety and security of detention residents, providing direct supervision and documenting resident behavior. This position operates on rotating shifts and rotating days off, requiring a commitment of 84 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Related experience or education is preferred, and the starting rate is $21.00 per hour plus benefits.

• Ability to pass an extensive background check including criminal history, reference check, and drug & polygraph testing.
