About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable remote access and enterprise networking solutions across a global, distributed environment. This role is critical to delivering resilient, high-performing infrastructure while prioritizing exceptional digital experiences for employees in remote and hybrid work models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, including significant experience with remote access technologies.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale, global Cisco network environments and diverse end-user populations.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, IPSec, and TLS.
  • Hands-on experience with VPN and remote access platforms such as Cisco AnyConnect, Zscaler, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, or Fortinet.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as DNA Center, NetFlow, Wireshark, and SolarWinds.
  • Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A user-centric mindset with empathy for end users and a passion for improving digital employee experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy enterprise-grade remote access solutions, including VPN, ZTNA, and SASE, ensuring fast, reliable, and seamless connectivity for diverse user populations.
  • Architect and maintain global Cisco network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure, to maximize uptime and performance.
  • Ensure high availability and low latency across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments to support productivity and business continuity.
  • Implement dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Quality of Service (QoS) to prioritize critical application traffic.
  • Deploy and leverage observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, NetFlow, ThousandEyes) to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact end users.
  • Lead root cause analysis and incident resolution efforts with a focus on minimizing user impact and reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR).
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement secure authentication and access controls (MFA, SAML, role-based access) while maintaining a positive user experience.
  • Automate provisioning, failover, and troubleshooting workflows to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with service management and employee experience teams to identify network-related pain points and translate user feedback into infrastructure improvements.
  • Mentor network engineers on architecture standards, best practices, and user-centered design principles.
