About The Position

The Corporate Trust team is a nationally recognized and ranked provider of bond trustee and agency services to the corporate and municipal marketplaces. Our trust services reach beyond traditional offerings to servicing aviation, reinsurance, and funeral trusts, while our agency business provides solutions for escrow and other transactional needs. Our team provides bond trustee and agency services to municipal and corporate issuers of taxable or tax-exempt debt. We also provide escrow-related and custodial services to corporations, not-for-profits, partnerships, and other business entities and individuals. As the Corporate Trust Intern , you will work within the Corp Trust and Escrow group, helping with reinsurance, municipal bonds, and funeral trusts. How you will spend your time: Understanding and monitoring the money from funeral homes or associations that is set aside in a trust for reinvestment You will track investments You will making sure payments are made in a timely manner You will help new accounts be onboarded You will gain exposure to different teams and business partners in the Corp Trust and Escrow industry We’re excited to talk with you if: Enrolled in a general business program OR other specific specialties (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Pre-Law) Compensation Range: $25,640.00 - $49,440.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
