About The Position

We're seeking someone to join our Chief Operating Office (COO) team as a Director in Treasury to work across a variety of Firm and US Bank regulatory and internal initiatives. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. this is a Director level position within our Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning, managing, forecasting and optimizing capital, liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks, policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing process. This is not a senior level role. Qualified candidates will have 4-7 years of experience What you'll do in the role:

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, industry, and competitive environment and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to manage risk and impact to functional area, and create plans to mitigate those risks

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal essential and ability to adapt to your audience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships, multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Initiative to identify problems and complete tasks without requiring instruction or guidance from a supervisor
  • At least 5 years' relevant Financial Services experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
  • Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
  • Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
  • Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
  • Provide support for the department's data governance compliance with BCBS 239 requirements and attend the Treasury Data Governance forum with Technology to assess data feeds, cloud migrations and critical reports
  • Engage in collaborative efforts to enhance governance processes for the Firm and US Banks, including fulfilling Secretary duties for Asset and Liability Management Committees (ALCOs), participating in Treasury working groups, reviewing policies and procedures, facilitating New Product Approvals (NPAs), and preparing Board reports
  • Facilitate the successful completion of Regulatory and Internal Audit examinations and associated deliverables
  • Transform data into meaningful metrics and presentations for senior management including Open Forum and strategy meetings
  • Build effective working relationships to help resolve queries, issues and ad hoc tasks with stakeholders within Corporate Treasury, Capital Planning as well as Finance, and Technology and Regulatory Relations
