About The Position

Allegion is seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual to join our team as Corporate Travel Manager. The Corporate Travel Manager will strategically and tactically manage global travel and expense operations. Responsibilities will include establishing policies and procedures, negotiating provider agreements, managing program performance, troubleshooting issues, and balancing stakeholder needs. Requirements

  • 5+ years in corporate travel management or a closely related role.
  • Proven track record in T&E reporting, processing, and program management.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex projects and deadlines.
  • Specialized expertise with Concur (or comparable T&E platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of corporate travel policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with solid business acumen to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Customer‑oriented, collaborative, and able to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Able to manage, mentor, or supervise team members (direct staff or contractors) as needed and applicable.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

  • Travel and tourism training a plus.
  • Current travel certification, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Strategic program leadership
  • Develop and execute a global travel and expense (T&E) strategy aligned with stakeholder needs and corporate goals and values.
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve T&E policies, processes, and program performance metrics.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner, identifying demand, driving value improvements, and enhancing competitive advantage.
  • Policy, governance, and compliance
  • Maintain, update, and publish T&E policies and related training materials to ensure cross‑functional alignment and adherence.
  • Monitor policy compliance, generate reporting, and drive cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks impacting business outcomes.
  • Supplier and program management
  • Own and develop vendor relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, car rental providers, and other T&E-related partners.
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve internal and external purchasing requirements.
  • Manage vendor performance, issue resolution, and escalation as needed.
  • Card and expense program administration
  • Administer corporate card program; card issuance/ termination, usage, and approvals.
  • Facilitate employee expense reimbursement processes and systems; process expenses and reconciliations; investigate disputed charges.
  • Ensure timely payments, monthly closings, and accurate ledger reconciliation.
  • Training, communications, and user enablement
  • Develop and deliver training on corporate card use, expense documentation, and travel operations and systems.
  • Communicate delinquent accounts and drive timely closeout of aging issues.
  • Travel operations and support
  • Manage travel documentation (itineraries, visas, travel-related forms) and support global travelers as needed.
  • Balance strategic oversight with tactical execution; respond to travel issues promptly.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve travel program delivery and user experience.
