We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused surgical techs with experience in hospital operating rooms. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiovascular surgical tech experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- Strong grasp of cardiovascular instrumentation and sterile technique
- Cool under pressure and excellent in high-acuity environments
- Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
- Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a surgical tech in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients
- Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.
Nice To Haves
- CST or CVOR-specific certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures
- Anticipate needs of surgeons in complex, time-sensitive cases
