As a Corporate Travel Agent within PNC's Supply Chain organization, you may be based remotely within PNC’s footprint. As a Corporate Travel Agent for PNC, you are a member of PNC's Supply Chain Management organization. You will be part of a diversified financial services firm that reflects the needs, values and goals of our customers, employees, communities, and shareholders. You will be instrumental in helping to maintain PNC's reputation for excellence. PNC Travel is responsible for providing excellent customer service, corporate travel arrangements, answering questions, and resolving traveler and travel supplier issues. You will be an integral member of PNC as you interact daily with one of our most important assets, our employees. Through teamwork and integrity, you will respond to routine customer service/service partner inquiries and reply to issues via telephone and e-mail by using airline systems (SABRE), scripts and procedures to arrange and support travel reservations. During your active and highly productive workday, you will navigate a computerized system for information gathering and booking travel for employees. Working with all levels of PNC employees and travel suppliers is required. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a critical operational support service, process, capability or initiative within an operational unit and ensures performance and/or risk indicators are met.
  • Establishes and monitors process performance measurements and business impact.
  • Gathers and communicates performance statistics and reports to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promotes and monitors the production workflow and assists team members with escalated process issues.
  • Independently identifies and resolves exceptions and serves as a point of escalation.
  • Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of production and/or process.
  • Determines and/or drives change and improvement efforts in production and/or processes.
  • Ensures the business adheres to policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Independently resolves compliance issues and drives risk mitigation activities.
