Join a proven team for growth, success, and a satisfying career! The position manages the activities related to various training and development programs for Blount Fine Foods. Responsible for decisions in the design, implementation and auditing of Blount training and development programs for single and multi-unit execution. Ensuring ongoing, long term employee growth, in order to meet corporate requirements, and maximize employee potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Leadership or Development, Education, or related field.
  • 5+ years training related and/or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ambitious with a teacher and mentor mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and assess learning and development needs.
  • Design and implement training solutions, both in house and externally to meet specific training requirements.
  • Monitor, track, and report effectiveness of programs to provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop, manage, and drive a training and development strategy to strengthen organizational capabilities and performance.
  • Build strategic partnerships with business leaders to understand current and future talent needs.
  • Evaluate and identify individual or group training needs, and create plans, procedures, and programs to meet those needs.
  • Support the business with individual development plans as needed.
  • Keep informed of new training methods.
  • Work closely with Vice President of HR and leadership at each Blount location to structure, pilot and manage programs.
  • Develop and mentor employees with a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data for targeted leadership development.
  • Research and assist in the development of Performance Management training programs.
  • Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system.
  • Conduct presentations and training.
  • Ensure organization-wide talent management and performance management initiatives are aligned on improving operational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the HRIS manager to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool.
  • Coach and advise management on talent management needs and leadership.
  • Develop a variety of training aids and materials.
  • Prepare and approve budgets and travel plans.
