About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager for our client on a project basis. This contract role is hybrid in Chicago, IL.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- 15+ years of relevant corporate tax experience
- Ability to serve on-site at least 3 days a week in Chicago, IL
- 5+ years of state and local tax experience
- 10+ years of experience with a publically-traded company
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and manage income tax provisions for financial reporting
- Review and file corporate income tax returns
- Identify, implement, and monitor tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and align with business goals
- Oversee and respond to IRS and state tax audits and inquiries
