Corporate Tax Internship Who we are looking for: The Corporate Tax Department at State Street is hiring undergraduate Accounting or Big Data students to join our team. We are looking for candidates who enjoy problem solving and analytical thinking who will grow to become valuable contributing members of our team. All necessary training will be provided on the job. Requirements

• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to communicate project status to ensure internal deadlines are met
• Interest in learning new things and being a part of a cohesive team
• Currently enrolled undergraduate student. Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors planning to pursue a masters preferred.
• Accounting or Big Data Major preferred
• All necessary training will be provided on the job

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Corporate Tax department (Compliance and Provision teams)
• Provide assistance with long-term analytical research projects with various members of the department, providing a well-rounded exposure to the tax department as a whole
• Provide support to provision team for monthly, quarterly and year-end close procedures
• Work with other interns to ensure daily tasks and requests are completed
