About The Position

Vixxo is seeking a Tax Intern to be based in Scottsdale, AZ working in our Tax/Accounting/Legal department for our 2026 Summer Internship program.

Internship will run for 8 weeks, June 1st – July 23rd
32 hours per week Monday – Thursday

Role & Responsibilities:
This Intern will support our Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams in our 2026 goals and company/AI initiatives. The Intern will work closely with a number of different team members who will manage the tasks assigned.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Vice President of Tax, you will expand your knowledge in all aspects of taxation and accounting. The focus for this role will be to aid in the integration of a newly acquired subsidiary in ensuring that that it is properly registered in various state and local jurisdictions. In addition, there will be an opportunity to assist the VP of Tax in various tax compliance or tax planning activities as they arise. Furthermore, you will get exposure in working with our Legal and Accounting teams.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing Accounting or Business or similar degree
• Minimum of 3 years using Microsoft Office. Must be well-versed in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and changing existing sales and income tax registrations
• Assistance with obtaining refunds or reductions of US and/or Canadian tax
• Communicating with vendors or customers on tax issues
• Assistance with monthly or quarterly income and sales tax calculations and returns
• Evaluating profitability of different lines of service
• Assisting with various month end close activities including reconciliations, journal entries and other month end reporting
