We are actively hiring for a Corporate Strategy Analyst! Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals. This Corporate Strategy Analyst will support strategic planning and initiatives at the enterprise and business unit levels. This role will be instrumental in driving data-backed insights, market analysis, and strategic planning efforts that inform decision-making at the executive level. The ideal candidate brings intellectual curiosity, strong analytical capabilities, and a foundational understanding of the P&C insurance industry. This role will serve as a Strategy generalist within a growing Strategic Planning practice.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 6 years of related professional experience, including 2-5 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy with exposure to the Property & Casualty industry.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning cycles, including long-range planning, with demonstrated ability to distill market and internal insights into executive-ready insights and deliverables.
  • Proven competitive benchmarking, industry trend analysis, and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional peers and executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of MBA a plus.
  • Experience with multiple business lines within the Property and Casualty industry including Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Excess & Surplus.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry’s regulatory, competitive dynamics, and strategic partnerships is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and synthesizing complex data sets.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of multi-year strategic plans at the enterprise and business unit levels.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze internal performance data to identify key strategic insights and performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Innovation, HR, Technology, etc.) to inform strategic priorities.
  • Support business case development for new initiatives, partnerships, and M&A assessments.
  • Build executive-level presentations and briefing materials for strategic planning sessions.
  • Partner with Strategy Execution and Recognition teams to monitor progress and performance of core strategic initiatives.
