About The Position
The Corporate Staff ASL Interpreter is responsible for interpreting and facilitating communication using American Sign Language (ASL) to voice and vice versa. This role involves communication between employees, potential employees, vendors, customers, and during various business meetings and events. The interpreter must interpret effectively, accurately, and impartially for all parties involved while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Code of Professional Conduct. The position requires working in a team environment, assisting other staff interpreters as needed, and managing interpreting requests. Additional duties may include interpreting for community-based assignments and special projects as assigned.
