About The Position

The Corporate Staff Accountant – Financial Reporting role sits within the Finance Center of Expertise (CoE) and serves as a key contributor to consolidated financial reporting, regulatory interpretation, and internal financial analysis across a multi-entity, multi-country environment. This role is designed for an accountant with strong technical aptitude who enjoys deep financial reporting work, stays current on financial reporting and income tax regulations , and can provide informed guidance that supports leadership decision-making in a global organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting roles with demonstrated technical depth.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to income tax regulations and their reporting impact.
  • Experience with consolidated financial reporting and/or multi-entity, international environments strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) required to support global financial operations.
  • High analytical capability, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a technical Center of Expertise model.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Nice To Haves

  • CPA license or active pursuit strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and support consolidated financial statements across multiple legal entities and international operations in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and applicable local requirements.
  • Research, interpret, and apply financial reporting standards and income tax regulations , including evaluating the impact of new or changing rules and providing practical guidance.
  • Perform internal financial analysis to support valuation, management reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a technical accounting resource to Finance leadership and cross-functional partners on reporting and compliance matters.
  • Monitor emerging accounting standards and tax regulation changes and drive implementation of updated reporting practices.
  • Develop, document, and enhance financial reporting policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Support audit activities related to consolidated reporting, technical accounting matters, and regulatory compliance.
