About The Position

The Corporate Service Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing service operations across dealership locations. This position demands a combination of strong analytical skills and hands-on leadership and coaching to monitor and help drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, customer satisfaction scores, and technician efficiency / productivity. This position demands proven end to end Service Management experience and understanding in high volume shops, with the ability to lead and coach individual contributors and leaders alike in driving profitability and success.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of successful dealership service management experience in a high-volume shop.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
  • Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

  • Punctual and regular attendance.
  • Provide in-store support as needed.
  • Monitor KPIs such as revenue, customer satisfaction scores, advisor and technician productivity, reporting areas of opportunity to Corporate and store leadership.
  • Assess service drive operations, including service drive workflow, staffing, and customer service processes, consulting with leadership on areas of opportunity.
  • Monitor shop dispatch, safety, and workflow processes, consulting with leadership on areas of opportunity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Help support the training and mentoring of service advisors, technicians, and managers on best practices in customer service, upselling, and operational management.
  • Support tailoring training to the specific needs of the dealership or service center.
  • Help implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention, as well as team engagement and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to address concerns and improve service quality.
  • Establish, analyze and update key performance indicators (KPIs) for service departments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality in service operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue.
  • Promote additional services, maintenance packages, and warranty options.
  • Maintain knowledge of standard operating procedures and company practices.
  • Support in-store consultation and training for Service Advisers and Managers.
  • Ensure alignment between concepts in new hire service training and store execution.
  • Ensure managers and leaders are trained and execute the Schomp Service process.
  • Observe and document process breakdown in the stores utilizing root-cause analysis in developing strategies moving forward.
  • Assist with process audits.
  • Work closely with Service Managers to ensure process buy-in and accountability.
  • Effectively manage a high volume of work.
  • Some traveling required.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
