About The Position

The Corporate Security Specialist at HomeStreet Bank is responsible for maintaining the bank's automated security systems, including electronic surveillance and alarm monitoring across all locations. This role serves as a secondary point of contact for security system-related issues and involves handling service calls, tracking security audits, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the bank's premises. The specialist will also assist with administrative duties related to security and support the Corporate Security Officer in various assessments and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience in a professional services and security environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of CCTV and alarm systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a corporate security role.
• Familiarity with security risk management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor all camera systems for functionality checks.
• Provide support for the Corporate Security Officer regarding administrative duties and new Retail Branch openings.
• Assist in submitting appropriate security-related service calls with vendors.
• Monitor and audit alarm testing and maintain emergency contact information.
• Conduct annual and semi-annual audits of alarm panel assignments and testing.
• Track and maintain service tickets for all security equipment at HomeStreet.
• Greet and assist customers and employees at the Reception Desk in a professional manner.
• Promote a positive company image and assist with other projects as assigned.
