About The Position

The Corporate Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company property and personnel. This role involves monitoring access to the premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to emergency situations. The officer must maintain high visibility to prevent security breaches and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• CLEET Security Officer License level IV OR Texas Online Private Security Level III
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to learn computer programs utilized by security, such as video surveillance and office suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Previous experience in police, military, or security

Responsibilities

• Patrols company grounds every hour to check for hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Monitors and controls access to corporate premises and sales offices to regulate the admittance process.
• Greet and direct employees and visitors onto the property, checking identification and employee badges.
• Direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours or as needed for events.
• Operates and maintains metal detection equipment used in entry ways and for special events.
• Responds immediately to unusual or emergency situations and takes appropriate action to ensure security and safety.
• Maintains an online security log of all activities, such as visitors, searches, and security issues for record keeping.
• Maintains proficient use of all assigned protective equipment, weapons, and life-saving devices.
• Enforces compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Completes all required security and safety training within 90 days of employment.
