Our Security team monitors security needs and assist associates with security and safety-related issues. If you are safety focused, an effective communicator, detail oriented and ready to serve and protect our associates and the public, we want to know more about you! As a Corporate Security Officer, you'll contribute to the secure environment at Nationwide. Greeting and screening all visitors entering the facilities will be key in your role. In addition, you'll patrol the facilities and report or take action to correct any breach of the company security policy. It will be important for you to learn all the functions of the Security Control Room including database management, troubleshooting of computerized systems and the Identification Center including database management and production. In addition, you'll proactively investigate crimes and unusual, suspicious or dangerous incidents and resolve these situations. Should the need arise, you'll execute life safety procedures to protect the lives of associates in various emergency situations.
