About The Position

The Corporate Security Manager is responsible for developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. The role requires proactive leadership to ensure enterprise-wide education and compliance with all security related requirements. This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Cape Canaveral.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Facilities Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant FSO (AFSO) with direct experience managing DoD industrial security programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Proficiency with DISS (Defense Information System for Security) and other security related databases.
  • Proven ability to perform and manage security programs across multiple disciplines (entire program security spectrum), to include Program/industrial Security, Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, Information/Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security, International Security.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers.
  • Knowledge and experience with ICD 705 construction and accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of complex security plans and proposal writing.
  • Experience and direct participation (working group and/or leadership positions) with Government/Industry Security Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.).
  • Proven experience in planning and managing staffing and hiring processes, to include partnerships with HR, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and program management leadership.
  • Excellent communication, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters pertaining to Sidus Space’s facility and personnel clearances under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • Administer and maintain the company's Facility Clearance (FCL) in compliance with DoD 5220.22-M (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual - NISPOM)
  • Process, submit, and manage personnel security clearances (PSCs) for employees, including initial applications, periodic reinvestigations, and debriefings, through DISS (Defense Information System for Security) and other relevant systems.
  • Conduct security briefings (initial, annual, debriefings) for cleared personnel.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and training programs in accordance with NISPOM and other applicable government security regulations.
  • Conduct self-audits and prepare for government security inspections.
  • Investigate security incidents, violations, and breaches, and report findings to appropriate authorities.
  • Manage the secure handling, storage, and transmission of classified information and materials, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate security records and documentation.
  • Liaise with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) representatives and other government security agencies.
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Develop and implement security education program.
  • Ensure employee engagement and collaboration across teams for understanding of and compliance with Security programs, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Treat all coworkers with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.
