About The Position
PB Protection LLC is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team at one of our commercial building locations in White Plains, NY. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $16.00 per hour and requires a valid New York State Security Guard license. The ideal candidate will have experience in a corporate security environment and will be expected to maintain a clean-cut, corporate appearance. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, ensuring the safety and security of the premises while providing excellent customer service to employees and clients. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for meeting and maintaining all applicable state and city licensing requirements for Security Officers. You must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and possess a tech-savvy mindset, particularly with Microsoft applications. The ability to maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances is essential, as is a courteous telephone manner. You will be required to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports, and demonstrate good organizational skills. Interpersonal skills are crucial for this position, as you will interact with individuals at various social levels and across diverse cultures. Clear communication abilities, including seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing, are necessary to effectively observe and report incidents, as well as to direct others when needed. This role is entry-level, making it suitable for candidates with less than one year of experience in the field, provided they meet the necessary qualifications and skills.
