About The Position

Environmental Air Systems (EAS) is a leading provider of custom HVAC solutions, committed to quality, safety, and innovation. They are currently seeking a Full-time Officer to join their team and help ensure the safety and security of their facilities, employees, and assets located in the Triad area. EAS is the leading HVAC Volumetric Modular Manufacturer and the # 1 Mechanical Contractor in the Southeastern United States. They are skilled in producing on-site and off-site systems, as well as modular facilities, serving many mission-critical sectors. Envirotrol is the expert in DDC and PLC Building Automation and HVAC/R mechanical services in the Carolinas, providing solutions to control, optimize, and maintain some of the largest international corporations and facilities in the region. Combined, EAS and Envirotrol are vertically integrated and serve markets such as Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Industrial Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Mission Critical Data Centers.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must have a good driving record and be able to operate company vehicles as needed
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and drive during late night hours
  • Criminal background check

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience (5+ years) in security, law enforcement, or military

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol multiple premises to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
  • Work independently, maintaining a strong security presence throughout the facilities.
  • Write detailed incident reports and daily logs with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Operate security equipment, including surveillance cameras, access control systems and vehicles.
  • Conduct routine inspections of doors, gates, and alarm systems to ensure functionality.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, and law enforcement.
  • Utilize computer systems for report writing, access control, and communication.
