About The Position

Promethean is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel to join its legal team and support a wide range of corporate and commercial needs. This role is ideal for an attorney eager to blend public company securities work with hands-on support for day-to-day business operations. You’ll gain exposure to a global edtech business, working across governance, compliance, contracts, and commercial matters. In this role, you’ll assist with corporate and securities filings, support board and governance activities, and provide day-to-day advice on commercial agreements. You’ll also help address compliance issues, advise business stakeholders, and provide practical solutions to routine legal questions.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of corporate securities/public company experience
• Ability to manage run-rate commercial contract review
• Strong drafting skills
• Good business judgment
• Ability to work across functions in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Foreign Private Issuers
• Experience with NYSE-listed companies
