About The Position

A Sales Engineer is a unique blend of four distinct personalities – the engineer, the salesperson, the trusted advisor, and the storyteller. The ideal sales engineer will possess all four traits and can quickly morph into any combination of them. The goal will be to use these traits to deliver the value of the Varonis platform to drive revenue and ensure that the given annual quota is met/exceeded. The Sales Engineering program at Varonis will help and guide you in developing all four traits and provide a unique opportunity to jumpstart a career in Sales Engineering at the forefront of cybersecurity and data protection where your efforts will have a direct impact on improving the security maturity for customers and prospects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and customer facing experience
  • Familiarity with M365, Windows/Unix file systems, Active Directory is a plus.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
  • Strong presentation, organization, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Confidence delivering presentations to technical and non-technical decision makers.
  • Demonstratable record of success in environments or projects with steep learning curves.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Varonis product demonstrations for both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • As a trusted advisor – understand customer requirements and integrate Varonis solutions into the customers’ environment.
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to understand each customer’s requirements and provide technical perspective on challenges.
  • Deploy product Proof of Concepts to demonstrate solutions to customer’s business challenges.
  • Engage with customers regularly to ensure their successful adoption and usage of the Varonis platform.
  • Take part in our Corporate Sales Engineers mentorship program as a mentee and a mentor.
