Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures
• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare finance or related field

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Preferred experience with Meditech and Cerner

Responsibilities

• Oversees and streamlines the billing and collections processes.
• Ensures accurate and efficient billing procedures.
• Manages patient insurance verification and claims processing.
• Plans and implements quality assurance for all processes.
• Monitors compliance with legal and health insurance policies.
• Identifies areas for improvement and implements solutions.
• Develops, hires, and retains revenue cycle team members.
• Provides guidance and evaluates performance of personnel.
• Leads initiatives to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
• Collaborates with other departments for seamless operations.
• Ensures timely and efficient revenue cycle performance.
• Communicates with insurance providers and negotiates payment issues.
• Assists with other tasks as requested by the manager.
