Requirements

  • BS plus 3-5 years of relative experience preferred
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office; including Excel, Outlook, Word & Power Point
  • Good understanding of USDA, FDA guidelines with occasional support from manager.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% to customers across the US.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.

Nice To Haves

  • BS Preferred in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food Science, Meat Science, Poultry Science, Culinology)
  • Extensive culinary experience without a formal degree will be reviewed.
  • Experience in virtual communication tools such as Microsoft TEAMS or Cisco Webex
  • Experience preferred operating in Project Management Systems such as SAP, Accolade, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Product benchmarking and data collection; including sourcing, data collection, and delivery of results to relevant cross functional teams.
  • Executes customer or branded food shows with the support of their manager
  • Ideates customer menu solutions that are consumer pleasing and operator friendly.
  • Guide ingredient vendors for prototype development
  • Develop and document recipe archive for both food service and retail applications.
  • Lead product reviews and trainings with internal sales and strategic brokers.
  • Proficiently translate operator needs into selling strategies with the support of their manager.
  • Executes food production in accordance of Food Safety/Sanitation protocols
  • Manage communication to all cross-functional groups including R&D, Marketing, Creative, & Sales in accordance with the stage-gate process
  • Other duties as assigned
