Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Experience recruiting for LTL transportation roles and Sales positions.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Downers Grove, IL.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting within transportation, logistics, or LTL environments.
  • Experience hiring Sales roles, including quota-carrying and revenue-generating positions.
  • Familiarity with recruiting metrics and data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Experience supporting multi-state or high-growth organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Support recruiting for LTL transportation roles, including Sales, Operations, and Corporate positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, performance expectations, and hiring timelines.
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting tools.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for Sales and LTL-related talent, including account executives, sales leadership, and operational support roles.
  • Provide market insights related to talent availability, compensation, and competitive hiring trends.
  • Manage requisitions and candidate workflows in Workday Recruiting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and data integrity within the ATS.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume.
  • Deliver a professional, consistent, and timely experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and guide selection decisions.
  • Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and effective interview techniques.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, tools, and hiring outcomes.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives as needed.
