Requirements

• 4-5 years of Business and/or Meeting Planning Experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Outstanding customer service orientation.
• High levels of independence and self-direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of team members within the corporation.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Intuitive and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient PC skills, especially in scheduling tools and database management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate small to mid-level events.
• Partner with internal and external partners to determine event goals and logistics.
• Assist with planning and coordination of large-scale events with the events manager.
• Make decisions related to event logistics in partnership with building operations, catering, security, and audio visual.
• Coordinate with multiple leadership levels to execute event visions.
• Develop and implement service standards for vendor partners.
• Oversee scheduled events and coordinate planning meetings.
• Partner with Building Operations & Security to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage conferencing services and report metrics to management regarding room usage and future space needs.
• Maintain flexibility in traveling to and working from other Target corporate locations as needed.
