Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, real estate transactions, and business law
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate and corporate governance issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
  • A client-focused, collaborative, and professional attitude

Responsibilities

  • Review title commitments, surveys and handle closing mechanics
  • Support with corporate mergers and acquisitions, setting up LLCs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to achieve optimal outcomes for transactions
  • Represent clients in negotiations and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods or litigation when necessary
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate and corporate law
