About The Position

The Real Estate Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate lease administration, regulatory compliance, and budget execution. This role blends technical expertise with cross functional collaboration, playing a critical part in maintaining audit readiness, strengthening internal controls, and delivering financial insights that support business decision making. In addition to overseeing lease payments and operating expense reconciliations, the Real Estate Analyst serves as a key contributor to lease accounting compliance, acting as a primary liaison for internal stakeholders and external auditors. The role also provides leadership in managing and forecasting a $50M+ administrative budget, supporting both near term planning and long range financial strategy. Ideal for a detail oriented professional comfortable balancing multiple workstreams, this role blends process improvement with strong financial stewardship

Requirements

  • 3- 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in accounting, finance or commercial real estate
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles; proficient in SAP and intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, variance analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.
  • BS / BA or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage Lease Administration: Own oversight of monthly rent payments across the domestic real estate portfolio, ensuring precision, compliance, and seamless execution
  • Serve as a key reviewer and approver of annual operating expense (OPEX) reconciliations, partnering with our third-party lease administration vendor to safeguard financial accuracy and contractual integrity
  • Handle Lease FASB Compliance: Play a central role in maintaining compliance with lease accounting standards by supporting internal control testing and process owner certifications.
  • Lead annual EY audit walkthroughs, acting as a primary point of contact for audit coordination, walkthrough facilitation, and timely resolution of PBC requests.
  • Enhance and refresh process documentation to strengthen controls and drive consistency.
  • Provide reporting and process support to meet lease compliance and audit requirements.
  • Administrative Budget Support: Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles for CREWS $50M+ administrative budget, shaping templates and processes that drive clarity, accountability, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Support long‑range planning (LRP), translating strategic objectives into forward‑looking financial forecasts.
  • Research and analyze budget vs. actual variances to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Manage additional responsibilities: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as requested
