About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement, the Corporate Programs Analyst will be responsible for analyzing program performance, identifying cost-savings opportunities, ensuring policy compliance and supporting cross-functional stakeholders with data-driven insights. The Corporate Programs Analyst will drive process improvements, develop supplier relationships and support the execution of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and team member experience across assigned programs. You will function as a thought leader for Indirect Procurement team; utilizing your continuous-improvement mindset to help define standards and processes in order to support best-in-class programs. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in either the Lake Forest, IL headquarters or Chicago, IL Merchandise Mart office.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1 plus years of experience in Supplier Management, Operations Management, Logistics Management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications functionality (e.g. Excel [including pivot tables, slicers, report development], Word, PowerBI Access dB, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Program Lead in developing and executing program strategies, including goal setting, performance tracking, and aligning initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, uncover inefficiencies and generate insights to support decision-making and program optimization.
  • Provide guidance on, and ensure standard operational best practices, processes and procedures are followed.
  • Assist Program Leads with communicating program objectives and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and communications to educate employees on program updates, policies and procedures.
  • Streamline workflows, ensure data accuracy and support automation efforts for programs.
  • Assist in audits as needed by analyzing data, creating documentation and ensuring team members/Grainger is in compliance with program policies.
