About The Position

The Corporate Partnerships Manager at Plug and Play Tech Center plays a crucial role in driving sales and business development within the organization. This position is integral to the growth of the Plug and Play Energy vertical, which focuses on connecting pioneering startups with industry leaders in the energy sector. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for executing business development strategies and conducting corporate market research to identify and evaluate potential partners for participation in Plug & Play's innovation programs. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding the innovation activities of corporations and convincing them to join the platform to support innovation within our programs and strategies. In this position, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Vertical Director and Ventures team to close corporate membership contracts and allocate resources throughout the sales cycle. The role involves developing and delivering presentations and proposals that highlight the advantages and features of Plug and Play, ensuring that potential partners understand the value of joining the platform. Additionally, the manager will maintain a keen understanding of key industry trends, competitive issues, and products to effectively communicate with management, customers, and support staff. Regular reporting of the sales pipeline and accurate forecasts through CRM systems will be essential to track progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a strong desire to deliver results, making a significant impact on the growth of the Plug and Play Energy vertical.
