Job Summary: Our Business Associate position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Pain Management Director in all aspects of their role and acts as an extension of the Director. This position will play a leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the operations across all units within the pain division of a national private healthcare system. This position is responsible for driving strategic execution, maximizing operational functions (financial, efficiency, expansion), and aligning divisional performance with organizational goals. Working closely with senior leadership, the Business Associate will lead initiatives related to recruitment, fiscal stewardship, staffing optimization, scheduling efficiency, and the development and implementation of enterprise-wide objectives. This is a high-impact role designed for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in healthcare operations, team leadership, and scalable growth. Requirements

  • Able to provide eligibility for employment for any U.S. employer
  • Bachelor’s degree in health care or business fields
  • Previous experience successfully leading and supporting team members
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication skills via phone/in person interactions/ emails while showing compassion/empathy in a very diverse population.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining/promoting positive energy, using tact, and demonstrating stamina and endurance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day pain management operations across multiple clinical sites.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met in all locations.
  • Attend and lead key management meetings; report outcomes and KPIs.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the revenue cycle, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and billing codes (ICD-10, CPT).
  • Audit documentation and support clinical staff with charting, medication orders, vitals, and patient scheduling.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to optimize staffing, recruitment, and retention.
  • Coordinate provider schedules and support credentialing efforts.
  • Lead performance reviews and professional development initiatives.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost-containment strategies.
  • Market service lines to increase patient volume and referral relationships.
  • Recommend process improvements to support sustainable growth.
  • Design and implement scalable pain management programs that enhance patient outcomes while supporting sustainable business growth
  • Review feasibility, reimbursement, cost, and timeline of new pain management services
  • Creative strategy and flexible thinking to pursue projects including novel device development
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with industry leaders, innovators, and healthcare organizations to accelerate service growth and market differentiation
  • Analyze emerging trends in interventional pain and adjacent specialties to position the division at the forefront of innovation and market leadership
